Ponderosa Pines got its name years ago when we were building our cooking shelter. A small group of friends were helping when George Pointer asked, "What do you call this place?" Boots responded, "I don't know. What do you think?" George was quick to respond with, "Well...you got a pond, you got a Rosa, and you got pines. How about Ponderosa Pines?" The name stuck, and the rest is history!
In August 2020, an artist by the name of John Drako created the masterpiece that symbolizes the embodiment of Ponderosa Pines. Its beauty can be regarded while relaxing at the shelter or while enjoying the entertainment.
